swap details & sign up info
The swap is now closed. Thanks to everyone who signed up! :)
It sounds like there is a bit of interest in a swap, so I put together the details (and am crossing my fingers that people sign up:).
(Feel free to borrow this banner - in fact it will make me happy if you do, but please right click & save it to your own computer before posting it on your blog/site & link back to this post if you can.)
The theme for the swap is the lovely season of fall (I know it isn’t fall everywhere right now, but I think the swap will be fun enough to join in even if it isn’t fall where you live). You must include 3 items in your swap package and at least 1 item must be handmade by you. Your items can reflect the fall theme in any way you like, although some ideas are using the fall colors or giving your swap partner items that are made for fall weather.
Important details -
1. Sign up ends on Monday October 8th (I will send everyone their swap partner name/info on Tuesday, October 9th)
2. Send out no later than Friday, November 2nd (feel free to send out your packages before this date, but you may want to let your swap partner know if you do)
To sign up -
1. Send me an e-mail
2. Please type Fall Swap in the subject line
3. In the email include your name, shipping address, email address, and (if you have one) your blog link. (I might make a list of those participating - just first names & your blogs, but will not post any last names or other information online. If you would rather I didn’t list your first name or blog just let me know.)
4. Also include your favorite type(s) of crafting that you enjoy doing (I will share this with your swap partner), and if you do or don’t mind shipping your swap package internationally (the swap will be open to our crafting friends all over:).
After you sign up, go ahead and join the flickr group I set up so that you can post your swap packages for everyone to see:)

If you have any questions about the swap please post them in the comments so I can edit the post if necessary. Thanks!
Oh my, now I am worried no one is going to sign up and I will end up swapping with myself:) Here is a flickr mosaic for a bit of fall inspiration to convince you to sign up…

1. patchwork scarf, 2. catching my breath, 3. fall owls, 4. Knitted Washcloths, 5. just a tote, 6. red and brown fall zakka, 7. Linen, 8. Simple patchwork scarf, 9. Fabric acorn, 10. heidi headbands, 11. Fall Quilt, 12. ::

Ooh, I signed up. On #4, did you mean favorite type of crafting to make or receive? I answered as favorite type to make. Thanks for setting this up - it sounds like a lot of fun.
Oops, clarified this a bit more. I meant favorite type to make. Thanks Dallas! :)

Quick question - should we limit our swap to three items, or is that just the minimum?
Looking forward to it!
