studio inspiration

Published by charamichele at 3:23 pm under Uncategorized

Yesterday we signed a lease on a new apartment! Of course we don’t actually have our stuff yet, so we will have to wait till next week to actually get moved in to the new place… (It is all sitting in storage, and if it were up to me we would probably move in tomorrow but we have to wait until the movers are able to move it back out of storage and into our new place. Probably the only downside to having movers move your stuff!) In the meantime I am dreaming up ways to arrange & decorate my new studio. I put together a little studio inspiration mosaic… (click to see a larger version of the mosaic.)

I think I could spend days just looking for inspiration photos, there are so many lovely craft rooms out there on flickr! I think that decorating my own craft space is definitely going to be a fun project, so I am sure there will be some photos of the process in the somewhat near future :)

Congratulations on signing that lease! I’m excited for you.
Thanks for all the inspiration. I’ve been thinking my little space needs a redo, although of course other parts of the house need it much, much more.

That’s so exciting, can’t wait to see what you do with the new space.

Yay on the new lease! And trust me, we moved ourselves - just me and Dave moving a houseload of stuff. It’s safer on your feet and relationship to leave it ALL to movers.

Ok, my craft “area” / office is a total mess…you may shame me into picking it up a little bit. These photos are very pretty….best of luck when you design your space.

Great news about the new home coming soon. I would be happy to have movers. Moving can get just a tad bit ugly! Back breaking and exhausting work. Gives you more time to focus on the studio and the other less important rooms of the house, lol, you know how it is…

Very inspiring pics. I’ve been setting up my own studio these past few weeks and it’s so much fun. (God, how glad am I to finally have a studio!)
