    Oh, this bag makes me swoon. The linen and green make such a nice combo, plus I can never get enough of THAT particular green! And the pockets on the inside really propel this piece into swoon territory. Beautiful, original work. Kudos.

    Hi Sarah - thank you for pointing out the similarities between my bag and Amy Karol’s beautiful design. I can see why you would think it is that bag. I have seen the book & pattern, and I should have mentioned that I was inspired by the many lovely bags made using her pattern & several other pleated bags that others made before her book was published. I did design my own pattern, but did not mean to give the impression that it was not inspired by other bags that I have seen.

    I don’t want anyone to be disappointed if they win the bag, because it’s not identical to that one…

    I just found your blog through flickr. The bag is gorgeous. Linen is rare and expensive here so a whole bag made of it is pretty posh to me. I just love the green against the linen.

    The bag is wonderful and makes me wish for Spring. The blanket (also wonderful) makes me think we could possibly survive the -16 to -20 degree weather we have been having.
