Just a short little reminder than sign ups for the fall swap will close tomorrow (Monday) at midnight (US - Central time). I am amazed at how many people have already signed up! :) Pretty exciting for the first swap I have ever hosted.

I am a bit tired tonight, but am planning on doing a real blog post tomorrow sometime. I have some goodies to show that I got in the mail and some photos from a portrait shoot that I did on Friday. :) Hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend!

I am already amazed at the response I have gotten about the swap (there are 45 swappers signed up for it right now & you can still sign up - If you have already signed up, you should have received a little confirmation email from me. If you didn’t get a confirmation email, send me a little note:). I really did think there was a possibility no one would sign up:) A big thank you goes out from me to CRAFT, Sew Mama Sew, and SwapDex for announcing it and all of you who posted about it on your blogs. (Welcome to those of you who are new to my blog and found it through one of these sites!)

Normal crafting to resume shortly… I have been a bit under the weather the last few days and we have guests from out of town visiting right now. I am excited to get some crafting in soon though:)

It sounds like there is a bit of interest in a swap, so I put together the details (and am crossing my fingers that people sign up:).

(Feel free to borrow this banner - in fact it will make me happy if you do, but please right click & save it to your own computer before posting it on your blog/site & link back to this post if you can.)

The theme for the swap is the lovely season of fall (I know it isn’t fall everywhere right now, but I think the swap will be fun enough to join in even if it isn’t fall where you live). You must include 3 items in your swap package and at least 1 item must be handmade by you. Your items can reflect the fall theme in any way you like, although some ideas are using the fall colors or giving your swap partner items that are made for fall weather.

Important details -
1. Sign up ends on Monday October 8th (I will send everyone their swap partner name/info on Tuesday, October 9th)

2. Send out no later than Friday, November 2nd (feel free to send out your packages before this date, but you may want to let your swap partner know if you do)

To sign up -
1. Send me an e-mail

2. Please type Fall Swap in the subject line
3. In the email include your name, shipping address, email address, and (if you have one) your blog link. (I might make a list of those participating - just first names & your blogs, but will not post any last names or other information online. If you would rather I didn’t list your first name or blog just let me know.)
4. Also include your favorite type(s) of crafting that you enjoy doing (I will share this with your swap partner), and if you do or don’t mind shipping your swap package internationally (the swap will be open to our crafting friends all over:).

After you sign up, go ahead and join the flickr group I set up so that you can post your swap packages for everyone to see:)
