not as planned…

So far my week is going nothing like how I planned…. Yesterday my computer died (I am using Ben’s computer right now) meaning that I need to chose between a new sewing machine or a new computer (and it is looking like the computer will probably win over the sewing machine since my sewing machine is still in working order but my computer is not so much). Today I haven’t felt good at all, I think I have some sort of cold or flu virus, which isn’t much fun because I had lots of plans for today including sewing a few things with this pile of linen…. (at least it looks pretty sitting there…)

Instead I haven’t done anything productive today, unless you consider resting, taking photos of cats, and reading productive. (Personally I would call it restful, but definitely not productive! :) So all I have to show for my day is a few cat photos and a photo of the front cover of Real Simple (which I think looks lovely and quite fallish)…

Crossing my fingers that I feel a bit better tomorrow and can actually get a few things done…

    So sorry to hear you’re not feeling so well. Fingers are crossed that you’ll feel like your old self tomorrow.

    Also so sorry to hear about the computer. It’s always the timing, isn’t it?

    Beautiful pile of linen which I’m sure will be something beautiful soon enough.

    I’m so sorry you are feeling under the weather, but a couple of warm kitties and a good magazine is exactly what you need to restore yourself. Sorry about your computer too. Such a drag!! Hope things get back to normal for you soon!!

    ugh! i know the feeling. i’ve been feeling the same way all day. today is our first real day of cold weather here…so maybe that’s it. who knows. the photos of the kitties turned out nicely though!! :)

    Thats an awfull coice to have to make, a sewing machine or a computer. You know if you have a pc, it might be a single component, and easy/cheep to replace. for example if its your hard drive, maybe $40, or a power supply $30. Then you could still do both :) If you have a Fry’s there they are realy helpfull at helping people fix their pc’s themselves. Good luck!
