Encyclopedia of Me (N-O-P)
N is for…
…New fabric from Sew, Mama, Sew! I didn’t really need anymore fabric, I just couldn’t resist these prints. I have had my eye on the raindrop stripe one for quite awhile now and decided I finally had to just order it. Those owls are just way to cute and I love anything owl. The horses are actually a fabric I wasn’t sure if I was going to like or not (I wondered a bit if it would be too kid-ish of a fabric, but I absolutely love it in real life!).
…Nominated.
Karyn and Laurie both nominated me for the Rockin’ Girl Blogger award awhile back. I think I was supposed to pass on the award to a few bloggers that I think rock, but I just can’t pick since you all rock! :) I would say just look at my links page to know what blogs I read and enjoy, but my links page is really out of date… Eventually I am going to get around to updating it, but I really wanted to wait and update my whole site in the process (so it may be awhile:).
O is for…
…the Ocean. I absolutely love going to the ocean! Really I just enjoy being around any large body of water… I grew up on one of the great lakes and so I really miss being near water where we live now. It is a bit weird to just see flat prairie and cornfields everywhere!
…Owls. I love anything with owls on it! I even bought these shoes, that have owls on them, a couple weeks ago… (The shoes were on sale, so I couldn’t resist!)

P is for…
… Photography. I love taking photos and even more so love taking photos with my digital SLR camera. I feel like I have really grown as a photographer this summer. I started the summer with my new camera feeling a bit like I was never going to learn what aperture, iso settings, and shutter speeds were all about. Now at the end of the summer, I feel comfortable setting all of this myself (I never use the auto setting on my camera anymore) and I take all of my photos in RAW (which I never even knew about until this summer). Of course, I still have plenty I want to learn about! At some point, I am going to actually figure photoshop out (I don’t ever use it right now), and I would love to learn more about portrait photography…
… Pounce. Otherwise known as Sir Pouncealot! Pounce is one of our two cute kitties, and his name totally fits him. He is already 2 years old, but he still acts like a kitten and I think he probably will be that way for most his life. I can’t imagine life without him or Axel, they keep me company during the day while Ben is at work and generally make life amusing! :)
Are you on alphabet overload yet? I really want to finish with the alphabet so I might rush through it a bit in the next week or so! :) Actual crafting to resume shortly!

to TOTALLY rock chara!
Love the owl fabric and the shoes too. So cute.
The owl fabric is great.
I have been contemplating the owl shoes also. I preferred the darker colored version though, and I can’t get that one anymore. That’s what I get for waiting, eh?
That owl fabric is really cute!
Hey girl! I had a dream last night that it was Christmas. Strange… But isn’t it so true that our Christmas times keep getting better? We should definitley go snow shoeing :)
eeeeeeekkkkk!!! i need that owl fabric for something! i don’t know what, but something!
and i really, really wish i lived by the ocean. kansas really sucks ass as far as beaches go.
lovely new fabric. I love the raindrops one.
I have a digital slr camera and it seems like way too much camera for me, but my husband had his heart set on it. I owe it to myself after the large amount of money that we shelled out for it to use every little bell and whistle it has.
Love the new fabric, especially the white! Any big plans for the horse fabric? -kb
rock on.
I love those fabrics, so cute and fun.

Those shoes are so cute! And love that fabric.
